Prospective Sisters and Brothers:

"We provide exceptional service to collegiate bands and promote equality and diversity, including empowering women in the band profession. We cultivate leadership, educational achievement, music appreciation and community development."

- Tau Beta Sigma Mission Statement

Iota Chi holds its recruitment weeks each fall and spring semester. In order to be eligible to receive a bid, you must be in good standing with the University of South Florida and have a GPA of at least 2.0. You must also be enrolled in at least one band class at USF, athletic or concert (color guard and winter guard are included).

It is encouraged to attend as many events during recruitment week as possible! Please ask questions and get to know the sisters. While recruitment week is a time for the sisters to get to know the people coming out for TBΣ, it is also a time for those interested to learn more and to find out if they would enjoy being a part of TBΣ and the Iota Chi chapter.

Attendance at the formal event at the end of the week is mandatory to be considered for membership candidacy. If you have important other business and still want to formally apply to be considered, contact the Vice President of Membership.

Remember, It Is An Honor To Be Selected To Serve!
